  2. We went for a trip to Mexico, and it was great funn to have the Camera with us in the water.

  3. I bought this case for a kayaking adventure I took this summer. Before the trip we tested the case and then put the camera in and didn’t take it out until we got home. We were able to take any picture or video we wanted; able to use all the controls easily. Because of the case we were able to keep the camera around our necks and get pictures that no one else on our trip was able to get. When I got home and loaded my pictures up to the computer I was pleasantly surprised at how great they came out. Last year I went rafting and instead of investing in this case, I purchased a cheap waterproof flim camera. The result is I still spent plenty in film developing and I don’t have any really good pictures from that trip. I am looking forward to using this camera on my next water adventure. It is a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you are going to be taking lots of pictures in or around water.

  4. I used this for the first time last month in my trip to Mexico. I used it for so many underwater pics and when I swimming around just to make sure it doesn’t get wet. The pictures came out clear and there was no leakage. The dials fit perfectly and I had no problems at all. Just make sure you get the exact one for your model. It is a bit big and bulky but it’s OK – it’s a case and I expected that. Everyone at the water adventures we were doing wanted my case!!! Some had the disposable water cameras and some cameras that were waterproof yet pics weren’t that great. Can’t wait to use it on my next water adventure!!! Just make sure you clean in properly.

  5. Like some of the other reviews, the price took me back a little – until you add up the cost of buying the disposable cameras and film developing. I’ve used them in the past and once you took the 24 or 36 pics – you were done and had to hope that they came out OK.

I just returned from a vacation to St. Thomas – lots of snorkeling and beach play. Took 100’s of photos so I think I took it through the paces. All of the camera settings are available with the case installed. The quality of the pictures was stunning. I couldn’t tell the difference between the photos with the case on those without the case. It’s just that good. The case cleans up nicely – the usual suntan lotion that seems to get everywhere comes off very cleanly. I used the underwater mode on the camera while snorkeling and let it take care of everything else. It’s not a cheap case but I have absolutely no regrets. The quality is so much better than the disposable cameras – plus you have all the advantages of digital over film photography.
