  1. It is waterproof, yes, it didn’t leak at 25m. The photos were fine, clear and you didn’t notice the case. However it’s no use for diving. The case is a soft plastic and at 5m (about 15 feet) the pressure is too much. My little Olympyus FE530 wouldn’t work. If your lens comes out of your camera then it can’t work. Since I have zoom the lens adjusts itself and with the pressure it doesn’t work. The camera just errors.

If you don’t turn it on before you hit 5m it will not turn on because the lens cannot come out with the pressure. When it tries to focus it stops working because of the pressure.

If your lens doesn’t come out or move in your camera then go for it. For the price it’s fine for quick photos. Great for snorkelling. If it had a hard case for the leens part it would be great and the foam ring to support the shape that comes with it is no use. I may try making a metal one to hold the lens area shape but I don’t know.

  3. Product worked well, took it down to 20 ft with no problems got some great shots of a wreck in Honduras as well as some wildlife. Takes nice pics below and above water as long as its wet. Camera controls were easy to use, I did have trouble seeing the LCD on the Exilim camera at times while under water so I just took lots of pics.

  4. I was a bit skeptical at first, just since it was at such a low price compared to other underwater camera housings that I had looked at. I decided to take a gamble and try it. It works really well! Not a drop of water got inside and the pics are eally clear when I shot some above water. I took it to a lake in Oklahoma to test it before I go on my cruise and my whole family was very impressed. The pics I shot underwater are not very clear, but that is due to the murkiness of the water itself. I am very excited to take this snorkeling in the Caribbean in october! Just remember that if you go to take a shot above water after you have had it in the water to wipe off the lens housing. Water drops will make a reflection in the pic. I just need to remember to blow or wipe them off.
