it appears that the camera gets very hot while getting used in movie mode and if the water is not warm you get fog on the housing lens.

This worked great – went scuba diving and snorkeling in the Caymans and got great videos and pictures! It’s a little hard to see your options on the screen because of the glare, that would be my only complaint. In addition, the battery doesn’t seem to last as long. We did have a little issue with fog on the lens on the last day of our trip – but that may be because of the humidity. I don’t believe there’s any other casing for the Sony Cybershot DSC-T900, so your other option would be to purchase an entirely new waterproof camera. Keeping my fingers crossed that storage won’t affect the casing.
